Biography

I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Biology. I later earned my teaching certification, and am now beginning my 10th year with Tomball ISD. I have been married to my husband for 17 years and we have 3 children that also have the privilege of attending and graduating from TISD schools.

I have always enjoyed working with kids of all ages, and have spent my life before teaching working with kids either babysitting, volunteering in my church to teach VBS or Sunday School and ministering in our youth department.

I am a life-long learner! I think my hobbies reflect my passion for learning as well. I enjoy reading, photography, camping and hunting/fishing (pretty much anything outdoors), and am passionate about traveling and immersing myself into the culture of the area.

I feel that teaching is the perfect combination of my desire to work with kids and passion for learning. My goal is to create life-long learners, who leave my class with an appreciation for Science and the knowledge that they can learn something new no matter what.
