Electronic Devices

Please remind your students that electronic devices are not to be used during school hours. Specifically, cell phones must be turned off and out of sight between the 7:09 bell and the 2:20 dismissal bell.  Failure to comply will result in the phone being confiscated.  Students or parents will be required to pick up the cell phone and to pay a $15 fee.

Students are not permitted to use personal electronic devices such as IPods, game systems, or other electronic devices during school hours. All of these items will be confiscated and turned in to the AP office.  Students participating in the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) pilot program may use approved electronic devices at the teacher's discretion.

E-Readers such as Kindles may be used as long as they are only being used as an electronic reading devices and if it is approved by the teacher.


Deliveries of a personal nature (such as flowers, balloons, gifts, cards, etc. for birthdays, homecoming, Valentine’s Day, etc.) will not be permitted.  Food may be brought only by a student’s parent and, if the parent is not having lunch with the student, must be left at the front desk.  Due to health and safety issues, food may not be delivered to be shared with other students.  This includes cupcakes, cookies, cakes, etc. that may be shared for special occasions.  There are no exceptions.
