Alvina Dominguez is a graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (2008) and Master of Education degree in Administration & Supervision (2013). She joined Tomball ISD in 2014 and previously worked as a teacher and campus Math Specialist for Tomball Elementary School. Most recently, Alvina served two years with Tomball ISD as the Math Content Specialist Grades 3-6 in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction where she provided leadership and coordination to ensure an aligned and articulated instructional mathematics program. Prior to working for TISD, she was a math teacher for La Porte ISD and Calhoun County ISD. Her current Texas educator certificates include Generalist EC-4, Generalist EC-6, Core Subjects 4-8, English as a Supplemental Language EC-8, and Principal EC-12. Alvina currently serves as the 7th grade Assistant Principal of Tomball Junior High School.
