About the Teacher

I am thrilled to be your child's 8th grade ELA teacher this year!  This will be my 19th year teaching with 18 of those years right here in Tomball!  I began my teaching career at TJHS, so coming back "home" feels amazing!  The past 11 years I have been teaching 4th grade ELA/SS at Tomball Elementary.  I am excited to see some familiar faces from past years!
I am a Fightin Texas Aggie class of '99 graduate!  Whoop!
I am married to an amazing man, Don.  He teaches WHAP at Tomball Star Academy.  Three children keep me young...sort of...Hayley is 20, Cecily is 10, and Donny is 7.  In addition to three children, I have two grandkids: Kasie 2 and Sebastian 8 months.
I am blessed to serve your children.  With that said, feel free to contact me via e-mail or phone.  You will receive a response within 24 hours.  The parent/teacher relationship is extremely important to me, and I value your role in your child's education.
Here's to an amazing 2018-2019 school year!
