Band
Welcome to the TIS/TJHS Band Program. We serve two campuses in one program daily. Our standards are high. We have a great time! Our Band students are some of the best students on each campus and maintain the strong family bond our program instills. We utilize email and Remind for communication with families so please be sure you check those frequently.
Afterschool section rehearsals happen weekly for Honor and Symphonic Bands.
Performances to include: Football Games & Pep Rallies, Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Solo Contest, Night of Percussion, Pre-UIL Concert, UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation, Spring Festival, and Spring Concert. We enjoy staying active in the community and take pride in continual growth as musicians.
We have a fabulous Booster organization who actively supports these students! Interested in volunteering? Be sure you have completed the Volunteer application through TISD.
